Hort Couture has announced three new partners, whom will be handing all of Hort Couture's propagation and distribution for Spring 2018 and forward:
- Peace Tree Farm - Kintersville PA
- Skagit Horticulture - Mount Vernon WA
- Wenke Sunbelt - Kalamazoo MI & Douglas GA
All three are companies deeply vested in the IGC channel with propagation expertise as well as finished production focused on the independent grower.
“Hort Couture will have a more regional approach to liner production and logistics moving forward with three companies that are important to the IGC channel. All three understand the marketplace well and bring unique strengths to the program.” says Jim Monroe of Hort Couture.
Hort Couture has also partnered with three brokerage companies to manage the sales for the brand moving forward:
- Ball Seed Company - West Chicago IL
- Eason Horticultural Resources - Ft Wright KY
- Fred C. Gloeckner Company - Harrison NY
The branded container requirement for the program has been discontinued, unrooted cuttings are available on most varieties and Hort Couture will be exhibiting at both California Spring Trials and Cultivate18.
“We have so many exciting new plants in the pipeline, especially in our Culinary Couture offerings. This new alliance will give the IGC channel many exciting new products to differentiate their companies from the big box growers and retailers in the future” says Monroe.
