American rose brand Jackson & Perkins is expanding into Canada.
Beginning in February 2026, Canadian gardeners will be able to shop a collection of Jackson & Perkins roses directly through the company’s new Canadian online store.
The company is partnering with Canadian grower J.C. Bakker & Sons Nurseries. Through this collaboration, all roses for the Canadian market will be grown, packed and shipped directly from within Canada.
“J.C. Bakker & Sons Nurseries is excited to collaborate with Jackson & Perkins with the introduction of many new rose varieties, along with some current favorites, to the Canadian market through the launch of their Canadian store,” said Rich Heikoop, sales manager at J.C. Bakker & Sons. “Jackson & Perkins has a long-standing history of providing groundbreaking rose varieties well-known to gardeners across Canada. Expanding on this tradition, we have applied our knowledge of rose production to these new varieties sourced from around the world. Our goal is to produce and distribute these roses from Canada directly to the benefit of Canadian gardeners.”
Jackson & Perkins said the expansion is meant to make it easier for Canadian gardeners to access its products without cross-border shipping challenges.
“Expanding into Canada marks an exciting new chapter for Jackson & Perkins,” said Kelly Funk, president and CEO of Jackson & Perkins. “This is more than making our roses available in a new market; it’s about sharing our heritage, innovation and dedication with Canadian gardeners. We invite enthusiasts to explore a curated selection of award-winning and new varieties and to experience the joy of growing roses while contributing to our ongoing tradition of rose excellence.”
The initial launch includes more than 50 Jackson & Perkins’ varieties, including hybrid teas April Moon, Canada Blooms and Royal Welcome; floribundas Champagne Dreams, Flash Gordon and Never Been Redder; and an array of grandifloras, climbers, shrubs and groundcover roses.
The full collection of varieties is available exclusively through the Jackson & Perkins Canadian online store, jacksonandperkins.ca.
