From Cleveland.com:
The sunflowers planted in memory of young brain cancer victim Maria McNamara have been harvested and will soon available for sale at Avon garden centers, but they will go quickly.
The sunflowers planted along I-90 between the Nagel Road and Ohio 83 exits were a reminder of the fleetness of childhood. Brain cancer took the life of Ed and Megan McNamara's 7-year-old daughter, Maria, of Avon Lake.
The sales will benefit the prayersfrommaria.org foundation, which raises grant money to study childhood brain cancer.
