During the month of June, McDade’s Nursery in Tool, Texas, will hold a $1,000 Extreme Garden Makeover contest sponsored by Nature’s Guide organic products. One fortunate homeowner will have his or her landscape transformed with new flowers, trees and shrubs.
With every $20 purchase made at the Nursery in June, the customer’s name is placed into the Makeover drawing. A $40 purchase receives 2 entries and so on. There’s no limit to the number of purchases or entries allowed. The winner will be selected at random and announced at the close of business on June 30th.
The Extreme Makeover prize includes:
* A $600 shopping spree at McDade’s Nursery.
* Plant selection assistance and landscape design consultation from the Nursery staff – a total of 60 years combined horticultural experience. (A $200 value.)
* Professional installation of plants by local gardening expert Carol Harrison. Organic fertilizers and soil amendments to be supplied by Nature’s Guide. (A $200 value.)
* An onsite visit to the homeowner’s garden by Nursery staff.
* Free soil analysis testing for ph, NPK values and other trace minerals.

The Extreme Makeover contest is part of an initiative by the Tool and Seven Points Chapter of the Cedar Creek Chamber of Commerce to improve landscapes in the cities. “Encouraging homeowners to beautify their yards creates an enjoyable environment for all,” said McDade owner Stephen Gent.
