Midwest-CBK, a designer and manufacturer of gifts and home décor, recently announced the winners of its third annual “Show Us Your Sparkle” retail display contest. The competition recognizes independent retailers who have shown creativity and excellence in retail display and merchandising.
First place went to Paddington Station in Ashland, Ore. Second place was awarded to Linder’s Greenhouses in St. Paul, Minn. Third place went to The Garden Hut in Fuquay Varnia, N.C.
Paddington Station, the first place winner, used a mix of toy-themed merchandise and holiday décor in its Main Street-facing windows. Owner Pam Hammond created a playful, yet intimate look visible from the street and sidewalk to draw customers inside.
