On Sept. 9, 2019, Studio M announced that its director of operations, Mike Todd, was appointed president of the company.
Todd brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role, having been with Studio M for nearly 10 years. The company's marketing, IT, production, warehouse and operations teams have each benefited from his leadership.
Todd started with the company from the ground up. His first role at Studio M was spent preparing brochure mailings and stocking shelves when the company was a home-based business run by his mother, Sue Todd. He started working at Studio M full time as a digital marketing coordinator in 2010 and has served as director of operations for the past two years. During his time at Studio M, Todd completed the MBA program at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.
As President, Todd will work to grow Studio M alongside the company's current executive team — Curt Todd (CEO and co-founder), Sue Todd (director of product management and co-founder) and Tammy Hickel (executive vice president of sales and marketing).
"Studio M is a very special community to be a part of. It's a privilege to continue working alongside all the wonderful people here — some of whom have been part of the Studio M family since I was a kid. I marvel every day at the company my parents have built with the help of family, friends, neighbors, Studio M retailers and the artist community. I'm honored and couldn't be more excited to take on a more influential role in Studio M's future as President," Todd said.
