Monrovia announces that Jimmy McCanlies is joining the company as the new National Sales Coach. With more than 25 years of experience in agriculture and horticulture sales and operations, McCanlies brings training, coaching and collaboration skills to the team. McCanlies most recently served as director of sales for BioWorks, developing a new sales team for the bioinsecticide company and guiding that team to record growth. His experience also includes roles with a leading provider of horticulture plant care tags and a large ornamental plant supplier.
“We are excited to bring Jimmy on board as our National Sales Coach,” said Ted McDonald, Monrovia’s Vice President of Sales. “Jimmy’s experience will help Monrovia continue to expand our partnerships with our customers. His expertise in people development will inspire our sales team and enable Monrovia to continue to bring exciting solutions to our customers.”
As the National Sales Coach, McCanlies will work closely with Regional Sales Coaches focusing on strategy and staffing. He will be traveling extensively, training outside sales team members and ensuring that Monrovia customers receive the highest quality service and support.
