Projects featured are based on recent consumer research that Monrovia conducted, which has indicated an increasing interest in outdoor living projects for spring 2023.
“Many of the consumer questions we receive about projects are about design,” says Emily Reeves, content marketing manager at Monrovia. “People say they need help knowing how to select plants that will look and grow well together. We wanted to offer ideas and tips to make gardeners feel more confident in planning their outdoor projects. As their knowledge increases and their interests continue to grow, they can become the best customers.”
This digital guide features ten planting plans for popular projects, from creating an elegant outdoor room to brightening a shady corner, plus design tips that are sure to spark consumer creativity. It’s packed with easy-to-follow designs that can be customized for any space, and regional plant recommendations. “Projects will drive purchase this year,” predicts Katie Tamony, chief marketing officer at Monrovia. “From freshening a border to redoing the front yard, projects motivate consumers to look for plant combinations when they visit a garden center. We wanted to help.”
