Chances are when you hear “banana plant,” you don’t imagine a 2-foot-tall specimen that consumers can tuck neatly into a sunny window. That’s just what Ball Seed delivers with Little Prince.
Little Prince has a very dwarf habit and only grows 2 feet tall. Leaves reach 14-18 inches long, and they are thick enough to resist tearing, which is a common problem with other ornamental bananas. The green leaves are heavily flecked with red when grown in full sun.
Plants require full sun, and consumers should feed them once a month if kept inside. If planted outside, place plants in landscapes or containers.
Plants should be grown in 4- or 6-inch containers.
