Garden accessories company Napa Home & Garden is offering a new program to help retailers merchandise products. The company worked with Greenbrier Nurseries, a retailer with locations in Virginia and West Virginia, to create an in-store boutique that can be reproduced at other garden centers.
“Garden centers know the importance of merchandising and many have commented on how much they like the presentation in our showrooms,” said Jerry Cunningham, owner of Napa Home & Garden. “When Greenbrier said they wanted to replicate our look, we worked with them to develop a Napa store concept.”
Retailers can select which products they want to carry, and Napa will supply display pieces and signage at no cost. Jim Monroe, owner of Greenbrier Nurseries, said the in-store boutique has already boosted interest in the product line.
“The sales have been brisk in the first few weeks the boutiques have been in place,” he said.
