The National Garden Bureau (NGB) announced its members’ new varieties for 2013. The collection includes a celosia with spiky blooms, a patchwork-looking impatien, a new Swiss Chard with pink- and white-striped stems and more. Descriptions and photos of almost 100 new annuals and vegetables are available on the NGB website.
The new varieties will also be highlighted in the NGB e-newsletters over the next 12 months. A current list of NGB members who have submitted their most interesting new genetics can be viewed here.
Writers are free to use the New Varieties information in their blog posts, articles, etc. No permission is required, but the NGB requests that information used is credited to the NGB. Photos used should also be labeled by variety name, and a photo credit given to the NGB.
