The National Green Centre, a professional horticulture industry event set for Jan 9-10 in St. Louis, Mo., is extending invitations to Master Gardeners to attend the keynote address by Dr. Michael Dirr.
Dirr’s lecture is titled, “Making Sense of the New Plant Clutter: Strategies for Successfully Marketing
Trees and Shrubs.” Dirr is one of the horticultural world's foremost authorities. His teaching, lectures, seminars, garden study tours, and plant introduction programs have contributed enormously to greater horticultural awareness. Today he travels widely to lecture, teach, and form new opinions of plants.
Dirr’s keynote lecture is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. CST on Jan. 9 at the AMERICA’s Center in St. Louis. Master Gardeners may register for the keynote address at the National Green Centre website. Cost to attend Dirr’s lecture is $80. The 2011 National Green Centre is presented by the Western Nursery and Landscape Association.
