Lighting sessions to be offered at the National Green Centre, scheduled for Jan. 8-9, 2012 in Kansas City, will emphasize two specific elements: design and installation. While these topics are neatly divided into distinct sessions, there is one common thread that connects them and answers the following question: "How is this going to help you sell more lights?"
The three sessions offered with FX Luminaire are included in the free Exhibit Hall Only Pass (sponsored by the GIE Media Horticulture Group) and will examine:
- Design Essentials for the Outdoor Lighting Professional
- Installation Essentials for the Outdoor Lighting Professional
- LED vs Halogen: a Case Study
Another educational lhighlight on tap at the event is the Green Centre University, with marquee discussions that will include "Horticulture in 2062: What the Consumer Will Buy & What the Industry Will Sell."
Additionally, educational tracks will be offered on Plants, Landscape, Natives, Edibles and Marketing, with sessions that meet LA CES and ISA CEU requirements.
The National Green Centre is presented by the Western Nursery & Landscape Association. It will feature a trade show, world-class education and many networking opportunities, as well as the Sweet Melissa Fashion Show, spotlighting the hottest new plants in horticulture.
