Wilsonville, Oregon - The 2016 Farwest Show, Aug. 25 to 27 in Portland, Oregon, has issued the last call for entries for this year’s New Varieties Showcase. March 31, 2016 is the deadline for applicants to enter plants for the competition. The New Varieties Showcase features the industry’s premier marketplace introductions for 2016 and 2017.
Eligible plants include trees, shrubs, perennials, ornamental grasses and bamboo, ground covers, wetland and aquatic plants, vines, bulbs and annuals. Breeders, licensors, and growers are invited to submit their best and brightest new plants available to the marketplace in 2016/17. All entries must be available for purchase and order from one or more of the exhibitors in this year’s Farwest Show.
