Retailers attending OFA Short Course in Columbus, Ohio, can get a dose of marketing and merchandising inspiration at Garden Center Live!, July 9-12.
This year's Garden Center Live! will provide a creative boost for retailers. Its three exciting components will help you sell more, better understand your market, meet other retailers, and see the best new products.
Interactive Marketing Lab: An intimate area for retailers to mingle, demo products, and ask questions. This year's lab will feature a POP showcase, hands-on social media, graphic design mini sessions, and lessons on using QR codes.
Merchandising Contest: Cheer on Jennifer Hatalski from Varsity Garden Center, Swoyersville, Pa. She is representing Garden Center magazine, as four retailers compete for top honors in situations that will simulate real, and often last-minute, garden center merchandising techniques.
Merchandising Concepts: This area will feature several themed displays using various types of retail fixtures and focusing on innovative merchandising tips and techniques such as using QR codes, promoting locally, and holiday displays beyond poinsettias.
