Sharon, MA – Laurence J. Ross, author, has teamed up with illustrator Alex Morgan to create a new illustrated children’s book entitled, "Oh!! The things you’ll grow!" for introducing young people to the garden center. It is now available at plantsillustrated.com
"Oh!! The plants you’ll grow!" is illustrated with digital watercolors of flowers, trees, shrubs and more. The book takes children through a magical garden center with their tour guide “Sammy the Sunflower.” It is the first gardening book of its kind solely dedicated to the experience a child would expect while visiting a full-service garden center.
The entire book is written in a rhyming pattern made famous by Dr. Seuss, and all the text is displayed in a wavy pattern to add excitement for the young reader. The book is fully customizable to tailor to the exact products and services independent garden centers provide to their customers. For example, garden centers in Florida can request different plants and illustrations be included that more closely match the product selection and hardiness zones they have, Ross says.
All the illustrations in the book are also available as 24-inch x 36-inch posters ready for framing.
