Peak Beak, a new poultry nutrition brand from Oberland Agriscience, has launched with a line of functional treats and supplements designed for home chicken keepers who want the best for their flocks.
Now available to independent garden centers, Peak Beak offers a science-informed, instinct-driven approach to supporting chicken health, starting with eggs, the company said.
Peak Beak said backyard chicken keeping is a trend that continues to grow, and according to a recent company survey, supporting egg health is the No. 1 reason people raise chickens at home. Peak Beak's nutrition supports strong shells, vibrant yolks, healthy feathers and overall flock vitality.
“When we listened to chicken keepers, one thing was clear: Egg health matters most,” said Greg Wanger, founder and chief technology officer at Oberland Agriscience. “We saw a hole in the industry between fun treats and complete feeds. Peak Beak was created to elevate the treat and supplement category by delivering functional nutrition that supports flock health in a way that feels intuitive, sustainable and grounded in how chickens are meant to eat.”
Peak Beak products are crafted with black soldier fly larvae (BSFL), a natural source of protein and gut-health supporting compounds that are also naturally higher in calcium than mealworms.
BSFL upcycles pre-consumer food waste from farms and food manufacturers into a regenerative protein source, resulting in less waste, fewer emissions and better nutrient efficiency, the company said.
Peak Beak products, all sustainably produced in North America, are designed to support specific life stages and stress points.
The brand’s lineup includes:
- Whole Dried Poultry Treats: 100% natural dried BSFL that supports foraging behavior and everyday vitality (available now)
- Feather Support Supplement: An amino acid–rich formula designed to support feather quality, skin and overall condition during molting or stress (coming soon)
- Layer Support Supplement: A calcium-rich blend with probiotics and marigold to support strong shells and vibrant yolks (coming soon)
- Max Nutrition Treats: A pelletized format that delivers concentrated nutrition with consistent intake (coming soon)
Peak Beak is now available for wholesale distribution and is seeking partnerships with independent garden centers nationwide. For more information or to inquire about carrying Peak Beak, visit peakbeak.us/become-a-retailer or contact sales@oberlandag.com.
