Pen & Petal, Inc. is pleased to announce recent changes to its team, particularly the promotion of Olivia Kaatz as Account Coordinator & Project Manager.
"Olivia Kaatz has been with us for a while, supporting us with project management tasks," says Kerstin Poehlmann, founder and president of Pen & Petal. "I am excited to have Olivia step into a more active role and adding account coordination to her responsibilities."
Kaatz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Communications from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She has worked on various publications and has experience serving as a writer and marketer for several organizations. In her new role, Olivia will be handling account coordination, as well as being involved in project management, content creation, social media and more.
"Olivia is extremely detail-oriented and deadline-driven, which is vital for her role," Poehlmann explains. "And with her education in agricultural communications, we are staying true to Pen & Petal’s core value of providing marketing communications expertise backed by industry know-how."
Kaatz will be taking over some of Joli Hohenstein’s responsibilities, who is leaving her role as marketing & PR specialist in order to be able to devote more time to her family.
"Joli has been with us for almost 15 years," says Poehlmann. "She will be greatly missed, both as a great asset to the company and as a friend. I wish her the best for her future and would welcome her back any time her schedule allows."
