As an independent garden center, your best branding is your own. If you have a marketing staff, create your own branded POP with tips that are tailored to your region.
As a Southern gardener, I can assure you that most plant tags are not written with warm climates in mind and can be misleading. You may need to provide alternative care recommendations that differ from POP included with your product.
Personalize color signage for your indoor plants that include your logo, lifestyle shots, a few key tips on placement and care, and then throw in a QR code with a link to more information on your website for the smart phone addicts. If you don’t have marketing staff to create this kind of POP, go ahead and seek out pre-made materials from your vendors or distributors. Any accurate silent salesman is better than no salesman at all.
