Building on its Virtual Open House Week this past August, Pleasant View Gardens (PVG) is expanding its offering by creating a year-long series of virtual events, sure to please growers, brokers, retailers, and gardeners alike.
“The response to the content we provided during our Virtual Open House Week was overwhelmingly positive,” says Henry Huntington, PVG President. “And we wanted to continue to provide our customers with the kind of solid horticultural information that would help them grow their businesses."
Per the press release, Pleasant View Gardens' new project is the PVGVirtual Market Series. This full-year of informative online discussions, interviews, and roundtables with industry experts will cover topics that will promote the exchange of thoughts, ideas, and expertise about plants, growing, and what it takes to make everyone more successful.
In addition to the Market Series events, Pleasant View has furthered its commitment to help educate and inform by creating original content for its YouTube channel. Using videos that premiere weekly, PVG is able to update its 400,000-subscriber base regarding topics from the latest Proven Winners varieties, to seasonal plant care, to the hottest recipes for the new year.
“Given the current pandemic situation, it’s going to take some time to get back to ‘business as usual’. Our goal is to help customers and anyone in the industry, for that matter, keep things moving forward. To help them grow their knowledge base and ultimately end up stronger as a result. Combining our new Market Series with our YouTube channel content helps make that happen,” Huntington says.
