Proven Winners, Clarity Connect join forces to make customizable POP accessible

Garden centers can get bench cards for all Proven Winners plant material

Clarity Connect Inc. and Proven Winners have created a partnership to provide garden centers with customizable bench cards for all Proven Winners’ plant material. The 2010 Proven Winners annuals, perennials and ColorChoice Shrubs are available through an easy-to-use online service called POPSignage.com.
 
POPSignage.com is an online ordering system that makes it easy for growers and garden centers to quickly, easily and securely place orders for customized bench cards. Point-of-purchase signage is a great way to provide consumers with quick, easy-to-digest information to help them make confident purchasing decisions. With dozens of card styles to choose from and an ever-expanding database of nearly 7,000 plants, users can generate attractive, effective 5-inch x 7-inch or 7-inch x 11-inch bench cards that fit standard sign holders. The cards can be printed as-is, or users can customize the cards by adding their own logo, a retail price, a cross-merchandising message and/or modifying the descriptions and characteristics.

The online system was developed by Clarity Connect Inc. and will soon support additional POP such as posters, directional signage, hanging tags and pot labels. Clarity has been designing and deploying interactive Web sites and developing marketing materials for years and knows the horticulture industry well. Timothy Howard, Clarity’s president, said, “We know most businesses are stretched thin and have to do more with fewer resources. Our technologically driven marketing systems are flexible, easy-to-use and cost-effective. Subscribers can also add new plant records with a click of the mouse.  They then enter their information and upload their own image.  This is a great way to add combination planters, hanging baskets, unique varieties and hard goods.
