Quick Plug announces a change in leadership as Bill Maartense expands his role to managing director for North America.
With over 25 years of industry experience, Maartense has most recently served as director of Quick Plug Canada (formerly Omni Growing Solutions) since its inception in 2010. Quick Plug North America includes two locations: a facility in South Portland, Maine, and a facility located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.
“Moving forward, it is our vision to be a dominant force in bonded media production,” John van der Maarel, CEO for Quick Plug Global, said. “By placing Bill at the helm of our efforts in North America, we are able to centralize our resources and provide our customers with top-quality products in a timely fashion to become a preferred supplier for bonded rooting substrates.”
