The Living Christmas Co. in Los Angeles will be offering delivery, setup and removal of living Christmas trees this year. After the holidays, the company will pick up the trees, replant them and nurture them until next year.

Star Gardens Nursery in Middleton has gained a reputation for being a “big surprise in small-town USA,” Examiner.com reported. Owner Tanya Striedieck never thought the garden center would become a full-time endeavor.

Cecilia Figueroa left a high-pressure job with an insurance company to work for Chelsea Garden Center in Red Hook, Brooklyn,MetroInternational reported. “As soon as I realized that money was not a factor in making me happy I realized I could leave my job at the insurance company and do what I want to do to make me happy,” Cecilia said.

Texas
Teas Nursery, Houston’s oldest nursery, will be redeveloped into a single-family home development next year, Prime Property reported. The Bellaire business will be relocated, sold or liquidated, according to Tom Teas, president and manager of the landscaping division.

Wisconsin
Hoffman’s Flowerland in Sheboygan is celebrating 80 years in business, Sheboyganpress.com reported. The business is still thriving and is currently owned by the founder’s grandson.
