Stone Creek Nursery opens new location
Stone Creek Nursery will open its fourth location in the greater Wichita, Kan., area, according to The Wichita Eagle. The store is in the underserved area of Andover, Kan. “We’re hoping that this move will make us closer and more convenient,” said store co-owner Andy Rizza.

Dayton Nurseries offers full service and big plans for the future
Dayton Nurseries in Norton, Ohio, was recently profiled in the West Side Leader. The store specializes in rhododendrons, azaleas and mountain laurel, and has an extensive variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, roses, fruit-bearing plants and rare conifers. Owner Tom Dayton said future plans for the garden center include the continued development of Wolf Creek Botanical Garden next to the property, a pick-your-own blueberry farm and a produce market.

Top visual merchandiser to create display at Atlantic Avenue Orchid & Garden Center
Aaron Shiver, visual merchandiser and outdoor-lifestyle designer for Monrovia, will be on site at Atlantic Avenue Orchid & Garden Center in Raleigh, N.C., to create a custom landscape display on Oct. 22. Shiver will be transforming a portion of the store’s 5.8 acres into a lavish fall display using plants and outdoor décor.
