Rutgers Landscape and Nursery is entering its 25th year in business, NJ.com reported. The year-long 25th anniversary celebration will kick off on March 27 with a Welcome Back Spring sale offering 30-percent off all nursery stock.
Rutgers Landscape & Nursery was founded as a lawn-maintenance and cleanup business in 1986 by owner Jim Brophy, then a student at Rutgers University. A quarter century later, Rutgers has grown to cover 20 acres, and has two locations.
