Sakata takes new approach to marketing trials

Company will forego Spring Trials to focus on multiple events across the Trans-Atlantic market

Sakata, breeder of innovative ornamentals genetics such as the revolutionary SunPatiens series, Pansy Majestic Giants II, Zinnia Profusion and Gerbera Festival series, is changing its approach to marketing trials. Sakata will not take part in the 2010 California (USA) Spring Trials (formerly known as California Pack Trials).

Sakata will focus on multiple events at venues across the Trans-Atlantic market (in both North America and Europe), such as the Week 24 European Flower Trials in Holland and trials in Japan, inviting growers, retailers and distributors to attend.

Here is a snapshot of some of the marketing events Sakata is planning in the Trans-Atlantic region and in Japan over the next year:

Dec. 2009 – Jan. 2010 Sakata Primula Trial – Holland

Sakata will continue to offer the global ornamentals industry cutting edge genetics and superior customer service, as it has been doing for over 96 years.
