Sakata Ornamentals launched a new website this week at www.SakataOrnamentals.com. Information about Sakata’s bedding plants, cut flowers and pot plants can all be accessed at this single web address.
The site has an easy-to-navigate format with extensive product information for growers, retailers, landscapers and homeowners. A locator function allows visitors to search for Sakata brokers and distributors and sign-up for free e-newsletters. Additional features include a resource library with culture sheets and recent articles about Sakata Ornamentals.
An extensive photo library provides easy access to quality images: registered users can search and download a wide variety of photos at various resolutions. Retailers and growers can also generate benchcards for Sakata products complete with photos and homeowner cultural information.
Sakata will continue to refine and expand information and add functionality to this resource over the coming months. The European version of the site will be launched later this month.
