The international garden trade fair spoga+gafa is set for Sept. 4-6. Over the three days, around 2,000 exhibitors from around 60 countries will present their new products and innovations for the coming outdoor season to the trade audience.
"We are very pleased with the registration figures of spoga+gafa," says Katharina C. Hamma, Chief Operating Officer of Koelnmesse. "The result shows that Cologne is the central marketplace of the green industry. With an expected 75 percent share of foreign exhibitors, we have once again reached a very high level."
In addition to being exhibited in Halls 1-7, 9 and 10, spoga+gafa is also being staged in Hall 4 this year, the overall exhibition space spans 225,000 square metres. spoga horse autumn, the International Trade Fair for Equestrian Sports, which is held parallel to spoga+gafa, is relocating to Hall 11.
There is also a new addition to the garden unique product segment. As well as suppliers of high-quality outdoor furniture, other brands from the green industry will also be represented in Hall 10.2. After its successful premiere, TAG DES GARTENS is also entering the second round: The garden exhibition will take place in Hall 8 and the adjacent Rheinpark on Sept. 3 and 4.
With its four segments: garden living, garden creation & care and garden bbq, spoga+gafa 2016 spans the whole trade fair boulevard from North to South. "Integrating Hall 4 into the international garden trade fair makes spoga+gafa more compact overall and underlines the independence of both events," says Hamma. The adaption of the hall planning leads to an even more compact segmental layout and buyer-friendly division into product groups and creates optimal routes for visitors.
The whole world of the garden is presented at spoga+gafa 2016 as follows: garden living, i.e. garden furniture and equipment, decoration, sport & games as well as camping and leisure time - traditionally the largest product segment.
