Stein Gardens & Gifts' 16th retail location is now open for business in Wauwatosa, Wisc. The store, which is located in the former Hawks Nursery store, celebrated its grand opening from April 25 through April 30.
Hawks Nursery will continue to offer its design and landscape services, said Mark Birmingham, CEO and president of Stein.
"Hawks made the decision to get out of the retail business, and we are stepping in and taking over their location in a typical landlord/tenant fashion," Birmingham said. "So we have a lease, and we’re going to operate under the lease. Hawks will continue to operate their landscape design and installation business. They’ve essentially gone from two components of their business to one."
