GILROY, Calif. — Syngenta Flowers, LLC, and Beekenkamp Plants announced a new initiative bringing together their poinsettia portfolios and supply chain in time for the 2019 season.
By combining their innovative poinsettia genetics, Syngenta Flowers and Beekenkamp can offer North American brokers and growers a full range of top-tier varieties.
“This new partnership offering will leverage the long history of quality genetics and supply of Syngenta Flowers with the innovative new breeding of both companies, giving growers and brokers a true one-stop shop for all of their poinsettia needs,” Scott Valentine, head of Syngenta Flowers in North America, said.
This combination of strong genetic options and a robust supply chain will also allow Syngenta Flowers and Beekenkamp Plants to satisfy the diverse requirements of North American growers.
“I see a bright future in this co-operation, we supply two world-class genetic portfolios out of one farm, this allows our combined North-American customer base to have access to best genetics available out of a proven production location, so they can pick the varieties which satisfy the needs of our customer’s best,” Martijn Kuiper, sales manager from Beekenkamp North America, said.
This new combined portfolio was on full display at the Cultivate‘18 event July 14-17 in Booth #1327 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio.
