Terra Nova Nurseries has introduced its new Heucherella ‘Pink Stardust’, which features rust-free and disease-resistant foliage and excellent clumping growth habit.
Heucherella ‘Pink Stardust’ has silvery, mint green foliage with deep green veins. The foliage is crowned with clusters of large, bright pink star-shaped flowers on sturdy stems that bloom continuously for months.
‘Pink Stardust’ performs well in full sun to part shade and is heat and humidity tolerant. A standout in mixed containers, it also performs well in mixed beds, borders, mass plantings or as an accent plant.
‘Pink Stardust’ blooms in June and July and is most active during the spring, reaching a height of 6 inches, width of 12 inches and flower height of 14 inches. This plant should be moderately dry between waterings during finishing time in greenhouses and kept in well-drained, humus-rich soil once planted in the garden. It's hardy in Zones 4 to 9.
Terra Nova Nurseries has created a “Plant Profile” page and “Grower Recipe” specific to this new variety and others, so growers interested in orders can learn about growing habits, plant characteristics, fertilization recommendations, water requirements and other insights provided by the breeding team.
