New gardening series, tours launch at PHS Meadowbrook Farm, PHL17
The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society is launching Know to Grow, a year-long educational series exploring gardening topics, and partnering with Chanticleer to deliver immersive gardening classes throughout the fall. The gardens and estate at the PHS Meadowbrook Farm are also now open to the public through Oct. 12. This is a great opportunity for those of you (and your customers) near Pennsylvania, but if you're not, don't worry — the Know to Grow series is virtual!

Children’s gardening toys recalled for lead poisoning hazard, Yahoo! News
Some recall news to share with your customers: Nearly 500,000 Stanley-Branded Jr. Kids Garden Sets have been recalled due to a lead poisoning hazard, which violates the federal limit on lead in paint. The garden set was exclusively sold at Costco stores nationwide and online at costco.com from February 2024 through June 2024.
