More vivid variegation makes this new selection distinct from its parent, 'Kissho Kan'. Green leaves with bright cream, prominent margins form a remarkably symmetrical, small, round rosette. The tiny cinnamon brown marginal and terminal spines emerge yellow, transition to light brown, and then finally age to cinnamon brown. The thick and rigid leaves are tough as nails, almost plastic-like to the touch, so you can be sure that deer and other pests won’t touch this plant. Agaves typically flower only once every 15 to 25 years and the main crown dies after blooming.
