‘Mercury Rising’ is a new, non-fading Coreopsis with large single red flowers and a bright yellow center. Vigorous yet compact, it forms an attractive mound covered with flowers. Like the others in the Big Bang series, it needs no vernalization, and since it sets little to no seed t blooms continuously until fall.
