'Wollerton Old Hall' English rose

New for 2013, this rose in the David Austin English Roses line has a strong, distinctive myrrh scent with a delicious citrus element. Plump buds, with attractive flashes of red, open to form beautiful, chalice-shaped blooms of soft apricot, eventually paling to cream. It forms a particularly healthy, upright, bushy shrub with few thorns. It will combine wonderfully with roses or other shrubs and perennials. Position this rose where its strong scent can be easily appreciated. Named for Wollerton Old Hall, located not far from David Austin’s UK nursery. 5 feet by 3 feet or 8 feet as a climber.
