The Lite Up Pot helps gardeners regulate the right amount of water the plant needs through its hydro absorption system. Water for the plant is stored along the outer walls of the pot and slowly absorbed by a sponge. Once the water reservoir is empty, the pot emits a light and sound to indicate it needs refilled, preventing plant overwatering.
