Resilience is Sun Gro’s brand name for patented growing mixes enriched with silicon. Independent garden centers and retail growers along with consumers having plants grown with Resilience as part of the mix have reported thicker, stronger stems which means less breakage, better handling and better shelf presence. Resilience also promotes improved root mass and structure to help improve drought tolerance and more compact, lush growth, resulting in an improved appearance. Resilience will be available fall 2014 in selected Sun Gro retail brand mixes from Black Gold, Fafard Sunshine and Sunshine Advanced.
