Gethsemane Garden Center After a long and brutal winter for many independent garden centers, it appears that spring has finally sprung, which means businesses are likely sprucing up their stores and displays. Have you created a stunning setup that will stop customers in their tracks? Do you have a unique concept or colorful arrangement? Do you have a knack for merchandising? It’s your chance to shine by entering our Garden Center Spring Photo Contest on Facebook!
How to enter
Enter our spring photo contest on Facebook by visiting the Garden Center magazine Facebook page at www.facebook.com/GardenCenterMagazine and posting your best photo(s) to our wall, (up to three per garden center, please) along with the name and location of your garden center in the description. We’ll add all of the entries to our “Garden Center Spring Photo Contest” album for everyone to see and comment on. Don’t have a great photo to share, but still want to participate? You can “like” and comment on your favorite photos in the album to help sway the judges’ opinions!
Prizes and categories
We’re giving away five $10 Starbucks gift cards to the lucky winners in the following photo categories:
• Best Overall Display (1st, 2nd and 3rd places)
• Most Colorful Display
• Most Unique Display
Deadline (Extended!)
Entries will be accepted on Facebook until Friday, June 6 at 12 p.m. EST. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges and announced the following week via Facebook. For inspiration, browse the album from our Holiday Display Photo Contest and review the winners.
Questions? Email managing editor Michelle Simakis at msimakis@gie.net. And thank you in advance for participating. We look forward to seeing the entries, and happy spring!
